Sulprim Paste by Ilium

Ilium Sulprim Paste is an oral antibiotic formulation designed for equine use. Each gram contains 310 mg of sulfadimidine and 63 mg of trimethoprim, providing a synergistic bactericidal effect against a broad spectrum of susceptible bacteria. This combination is effective in treating various infections, including respiratory, gastrointestinal, and urinary tract infections in horses. The paste is supplied in a 250 g tube with a 60 cc dosing syringe for accurate administration.

Usage:

• Target Species: Horses

• Indications:

  • Treatment of infections caused by organisms susceptible to sulfadimidine and trimethoprim

• Administration: Administer orally at a dose of 4 mL per 50 kg body weight twice daily for up to 7 days, or as directed by a veterinarian.
