The Zilco Oscar Lite Helmet is built with a single-piece shell featuring a channel design for enhanced ventilation, and comes with a rear dial-adjustment system to customise fit. It includes a removable mesh lining for comfort and hygiene, and weighs approximately 430 g, making it one of the lighter models in its class. It’s manufactured to meet VG1 (and in some markets EN/ASTM) safety standards.
Usage
Target User: Riders requiring certified head protection in English or general riding disciplines
Application: Worn during mounting and riding sessions to protect the head in the event of falls or impacts; suitable for schooling, hacking and competition where helmet rules apply
Method:
Measure your head circumference and select the correct size: S (48–52 cm), M (52–57 cm), or L (57–61 cm).
Place the helmet level on your head (about two fingers above your eyebrows) and adjust the rear dial for a snug yet comfortable fit.
Fasten the chin strap securely; when done correctly, the helmet should remain stable when you shake your head gently.
Before each ride, inspect for cracks, damage, or wear; also, check the liner and retention system.
After use, remove the helmet, wipe clean with a damp cloth, remove the lining if needed for washing, and store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight.
Frequency:
Use it every time you ride.
Replace immediately after a significant impact or if any damage is visible; even without impact, the standard recommendation is replacement after ~5-8 years or per manufacturer guidance.
