The Kerbl Water Snaffle, Hollow features a stainless-steel construction that is easy to clean, durable and resistant to rust. Its broken (single-joint) hollow mouthpiece distributes pressure evenly across the tongue and bars, encouraging a soft, flexible mouth. The loose ring design offers freedom of movement and improved rein contact, making the bit well-suited for basic training, dressage, showjumping, eventing or recreational riding.

Method:
Select the correct size of bit (10.5 cm, 11.5 cm, 12.5 cm or 13.5 cm) according to the horse’s mouth width.
Fit the bit into the bridle so the mouthpiece sits comfortably across the tongue and bars; adjust cheekpieces so the bit lies correctly (no more than one or two wrinkles at the corners of the mouth).
Use mild, consistent rein aids; the bit’s design supports suppleness and mouthing.
After riding, rinse the bit clean, check the rings and the joint for smooth operation, and store in a dry tack area.
