The Zilco Training Cavesson is part of Zilco’s Training range, offering the appearance preferred by traditionalists while utilising durable synthetic materials. The noseband width is 25 mm (1″), and the strap is made from 12 mm (½″) synthetic webbing that is softer to the touch and emulates leather in appearance. The product includes fully-lined construction, soft colour-coordinated keepers and stainless steel fittings. It is supplied in one size designed to fit Thoroughbreds.

Application: Used as a noseband component of a bridle for schooling, training or general riding when you want a traditional look combined with modern synthetic durability.
Method:
Fit the cavesson within the bridle setup by placing the noseband around the horse’s nose with the strap adjusted so the cavesson lies flat and even.
Ensure the noseband is secure but allows the horse to open its mouth slightly and maintain comfort.
After use, unbuckle the cavesson, clean off dust or sweat, wipe with a damp cloth, let it air dry, inspect for damage and store in a dry tack area.
