Synulox Palatable Drops by Zoetis

Synulox Palatable Drops is a veterinary antibiotic combining amoxicillin and clavulanic acid, enhancing efficacy against β-lactamase-producing bacteria. It is presented as an off-white powder requiring reconstitution with 15 ml of water to form a palatable oral suspension.​​

This formulation is particularly suitable for small animals or those with difficulty swallowing tablets.​

Usage:

• Target Species: Dogs and Cats

• Administration Route: Oral

• Dosage:

  • Standard: 0.25 ml per kg body weight, twice daily (equivalent to 12.5 mg/kg)

  • For small patients: 5–6 drops/kg twice daily (each drop contains approximately 2.3 mg of the active combination)

  • Refractory cases (e.g., respiratory infections): 0.5 ml/kg twice daily (25 mg/kg)

• Duration of Therapy:

  • Routine cases: 5–7 days

  • Chronic skin disease: 10–20 days

  • Chronic cystitis: 10–28 days

  • Respiratory disease: 8–10 days​
