Application: Used during grooming to remove dried mud, loose hair, sweat residue, and to stimulate skin before brushing.
Method:
Ensure the horse is secured and calm.
Position your hand through the integrated strap so you have a secure grip.
Gently apply the curry comb in circular or stroking motions over the body, especially areas with dried mud, flakes, or shedding hair, avoiding sensitive bony points or skin lesions.
Follow with a stiff or soft body brush to remove loosened debris, and then finish with a soft brush for shine.
After use, rinse the curry comb if required, remove hair/debris from the strap and store in a dry place.
Frequency:
Use before each ride or after turnout when the coat is dirty or shedding is active.
Monitor the rubber nubs for wear; replace the curry comb if the nubs become flattened or the strap slackens.
