Panacur Equine Oral Paste contains 18.75 % fenbendazole designed for the treatment and control of adult and immature gastrointestinal roundworms—including large & small strongyles, ascarids, Oxyuris, and Strongyloides species—in horses and equines. The flavored paste can be administered directly using the syringe or mixed with feed for easy dosing. Each 24 g syringe treats up to 600 kg of body weight.
Usage:
Target Species: Horses and other equines
Indications: Control and treatment of roundworms: large & small strongyles (including encysted larvae), ascarids, pinworms, and Strongyloides species.
Administration Method:
Direct oral dosing by syringe onto the tongue or mixed with feed
Dosage Guidelines:
Standard dose: 7.5 mg fenbendazole/kg, equivalent to one 24 g syringe per 600 kg
For migrating/encysted larvae: same daily dose for 5 consecutive days
Foals (Strongyloides westeri): 50 mg/kg = full syringe treats ~90 kg
Treatment Schedule:
Routine deworming: every 6–8 weeks
Larval suppression: autumn and spring courses for proper parasite management
