Omeprash Oral Paste by Ashish Life Science is designed to manage equine gastric ulcer syndrome (EGUS) in horses and foals. Its formulation includes:​

• Omeprazole (370 mg per gram)​

Omeprazole works by inhibiting the proton pumps in the stomach lining, thereby reducing gastric acid production. This reduction in acidity allows existing ulcers to heal and prevents the formation of new ulcers, especially during periods of stress or intensive training.​

Usage:

• Administration Route: Oral paste administered directly into the mouth.

• Dosage:

  • Treatment: 4 mg/kg body weight once daily for 28 days.

  • Prevention: 1–2 mg/kg body weight once daily.

• Duration: Administer as directed by a veterinarian, considering the specific needs of the animal.​
