Nova Doxyl LA 2 is a sterile long-acting injectable solution developed to treat bacterial infections in cattle, goats, sheep, dogs, and cats. The formulation contains doxycycline hyclate, a broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic effective against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
The product is commonly used in the management of respiratory disease complexes, pasteurellosis, mastitis, metritis, arthritis, dermatitis, and wound infections. Its long-acting formulation maintains therapeutic levels for up to 48–72 hours, reducing the need for frequent injections and improving treatment compliance.
Usage:
Target Species: Cattle, goats, sheep, dogs, and cats
Administration Route: Deep intramuscular injection (IM)
Dosage:
Cattle, goats, sheep: 1 mL per 20–30 kg body weight
Dogs and cats:
Under 5 kg: 1 mL per 14–20 kg body weight
Over 5 kg: 1 mL per 20 kg body weight
Treatment Interval: Repeat dose after 48–72 hours if required.
