The Kerbl Mini Chaps Classic Stretch combines a hard-wearing faux-leather outer with an elastic side panel for optimal fit and freedom of movement. They feature a full-length zip, a Velcro shank closure and an elastic sole strap to keep the chaps in place while riding. The synthetic construction ensures simple cleaning with water and mild detergent, and they are machine washable at 30 °C, ideal for everyday use or a school-kit setup.
Usage
Target User: Adult riders using paddock boots who prefer a chaps option instead of tall boots.
Application: Worn over paddock boots and breeches for everyday riding, training, or casual shows where long boots are not required.
Method:
Select the correct size (XS, S, M, L, XL or XXL) based on your lower-leg and calf fit.
Step into your paddock boots and zip the chaps up the leg; fasten the Velcro shank strap, then position the elastic sole strap under the boot instep.
Adjust your stirrups and leg position to ensure the chaps sit smoothly without bunching under the flap.
After riding, unzip, remove the chaps, wipe off dust or debris; for deeper cleaning, machine wash at 30 °C as per care instructions.
Frequency:
Suitable for daily schooling, lessons and casual rides.
Inspect regularly: check zippers, Velcro, and sole strap elastic for wear; replace if fit or fastening is compromised.
