Ilium Meloxicam 20 Anti-Inflammatory Injection is designed to provide effective relief from pain and inflammation associated with various conditions in cattle, sheep, and horses. Each milliliter contains 20 mg of meloxicam, ensuring precise dosing and rapid onset of action. Usage:

• Target Species: Cattle, sheep, and horses

• Indications:

  • Cattle:

    • Alleviation of inflammation and pain in both acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders

    • Reduction of clinical symptoms in acute respiratory infections and diarrhea in combination with appropriate antibiotic therapy

    • Management of pain associated with acute mastitis

  • Sheep:

    • Relief of pain and inflammation in lambs 14 days of age or older

  • Horses:

    • Rapid onset treatment of musculoskeletal disorders

    • Relief of pain associated with colic

• Administration:

  • Cattle: Administer 0.5 mg meloxicam/kg body weight (i.e., 2.5 mL/100 kg) via subcutaneous or intravenous injection, in combination with antibiotic therapy as appropriate.

  • Sheep: Administer 1.0 mg meloxicam/kg body weight (i.e., 1.0 mL/20 kg) via subcutaneous injection high on the neck behind the ear.

  • Horses: Administer 0.6 mg meloxicam/kg body weight (i.e., 3.0 mL/100 kg) via intravenous injection.
