Ilium Meloxicam 1.5 mg/mL Oral Suspension is a veterinary NSAID designed to alleviate discomfort and inflammation in dogs suffering from conditions such as osteoarthritis and other musculoskeletal disorders. Its liquid formulation ensures easy administration, either mixed with food or given directly into the mouth, facilitating better compliance and effective pain management.

Usage:

Target Species: Dogs

Indications: For the alleviation of inflammation and pain in both acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders, including osteoarthritis.

Administration: Administer orally, either mixed with food or directly into the dog’s mouth.

Dosage:

• Initial Dose (Day 1): 0.2 mg/kg body weight

• Maintenance Dose (From Day 2 onwards): 0.1 mg/kg body weight once daily

Method:

• Shake the bottle well before use.

• Use the dosing syringe provided to measure the accurate dose based on the dog’s weight.

• Administer the measured dose either by mixing it with the dog’s food or directly into the mouth.

Duration: Continue once-daily treatment at the maintenance dose. The duration of treatment should be as prescribed by the veterinarian, based on the dog’s clinical response.
