Lunge Line with Swivel + Snap-Hook (7.5 m) by Kerbl

The Kerbl Lunge Line is engineered for safe, effective groundwork. Built from durable polypropylene webbing and fitted with a strong swivel and snap-hook, it allows smooth rotation and secure attachment to a halter or cavesson. The design also includes a wrist loop to enhance handler control. Offered in two colour options — Black and Dark Blue — it comes in a fixed 7.5 m length, providing good space for the horse to move on the circle.

Usage

• Target Species: Horses (and ponies where length is acceptable)

• Application: Used in lunging / longeing sessions, vaulting warm-ups or stable training to maintain a safe distance while controlling the horse’s movement.

• Method:

  1. Attach the snap-hook securely to the halter or cavesson ring.

  2. Use the wrist loop for managing the line in one hand, and allow slack/release as the horse moves through walk, trot or canter.

  3. Ensure you stand at a safe angle (typically at the horse’s shoulder) and keep the line clear of feet and feet clear of the line.

  4. After use, coil the line neatly, inspect the snap and swivel for wear or rust, and store dry.

• Frequency:

  • Use whenever lunging, groundwork or warm-ups are being done.

  • Inspect regularly for wear, especially swivel/snap integrity and webbing condition; replace if damage is observed.
