The Kerbl High-Visibility Gaiters are crafted to enhance rider and horse safety during dawn, dusk or poor-light rides. Each set comes in a pair (2 pcs per pack). The gaiters are “steplessly adjustable” via a Velcro-type hook & loop fastener, and include an extra snap closure to prevent loss of the gaiter from the horse’s leg. The height is approximately 6.0 cm, making them ideal for placement just above or around the lower leg for visibility. The design and material emphasise durability for equestrian use.
Usage
Target Species: Horses and ponies (leg armour/accessory)
Application: Worn around the horse’s lower leg (cannon or pastern region) to increase visibility and reduce risk of accidents in low-light or roadside conditions.
Method:
Select the pack (2 pcs) and position each gaiter on the appropriate leg(s).
Wrap the gaiter around the leg, ensuring the reflective surface is visible, and fasten securely using the hook-and-loop strap.
Secure the additional snap closure to lock the gaiter in place and reduce the risk of slipping.
After use, remove the gaiters, inspect for wear, rinse if needed, and store in a dry location.
Frequency:
Use every time you ride in conditions of poor visibility (evening, morning, bad weather) or travel on a road or track where enhanced visibility is required.
Check the fasteners, material condition and reflectivity regularly; replace if fading or fastener failure occurs.
