Frecardyl is a sterile solution intended for injection in various animal species to assist aerobic and circulatory performance. The formulation combines heptaminol hydrochloride and diprophylline, offering a dual mechanism: stimulating the respiratory centre, alleviating bronchial spasm, and enhancing myocardial tone. It’s indicated in practice for conditions involving respiratory compromise, cardiac insufficiency, or circulatory collapse. The product is marketed under authorisation (e.g., Vetoquinol’s regulatory registration in Europe).
