Dufatil 25% Oral contains 250 mg of tilmicosin per ml, a semi-synthetic macrolide antibiotic derived from tylosin. It exhibits bactericidal activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, with a particular efficacy against Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, and Haemophilus species. This formulation is designed to address respiratory infections in livestock, ensuring improved health and productivity.​

Usage:

• Administration Route: Oral administration via drinking water.

• Dosage:

  • Administer 15–20 mg of tilmicosin per kg of body weight per day.

  • This equates to 1 ml of Dufatil 25% Oral per 12.5–16.7 kg of body weight per day.

  • Treatment duration is typically 3–5 consecutive days.

• Instructions:

  • Ensure accurate dosing based on the animals’ body weight.

  • Prepare fresh medicated water daily and ensure it is the sole source of drinking water during treatment.​
