Dermotic Ear & Skin Suspension by Ilium

Ilium Dermotic Ear & Skin Suspension is a veterinary-formulated treatment designed to manage ear and skin infections in dogs and cats. Each milliliter contains 23 mg of miconazole nitrate, 5 mg of prednisolone acetate, and 0.696 mg of polymyxin B sulfate. This combination provides broad-spectrum antifungal and antibacterial activity, along with potent anti-inflammatory effects. The suspension is available in 20 mL and 40 mL plastic bottles and is suitable for conditions such as otitis externa and various dermal infections. 

Usage:

• Target Species: Dogs and cats

• Indications:

  • Treatment of otitis externa (outer ear infections)

  • Management of skin infections caused by fungi, yeasts, and Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria

• Administration:

  • Otitis Externa: Instill 3 to 5 drops into the affected ear twice daily. Gently massage the ear to ensure even distribution.

  • Skin Infections: Apply a thin layer to the affected area twice daily. Continue treatment for several days after clinical signs have resolved. In stubborn cases, treatment may be necessary for 2 to 3 weeks.
