Usage

Target Species: Horses (Thoroughbreds & sport horses)

Application: Suitable for flat racing, everyday riding, exercising, and general performance work requiring secure clip placement and durable steel support.

Method:

• Select the appropriate variant (Front Toe Clip or Hind Side Clip) and correct size (2×0 or 0) based on the horse’s hoof measurements and farrier assessment.

• Trim and balance the hoof to ensure a correct, level fit.

• Position the shoe so the toe or side clips sit flush against the hoof wall.

• Nail the shoe securely, checking clip alignment and overall balance.

• After fitting, inspect during movement to ensure proper stability and comfort.

• After each shoeing cycle, remove, clean and evaluate wear patterns before refitting or replacing.

Frequency:

• Suitable for every standard shoeing cycle (typically every 4–6 weeks), depending on workload and hoof growth.

• Replace when nail holes elongate, steel becomes thin or wear compromises performance.
