Cloxa-Ben Dry Cow is formulated with cloxacillin benzathine, an antistaphylococcal penicillin effective against penicillin-G resistant organisms, including Staphylococcus aureus. This treatment is administered at the end of lactation to address existing subclinical mastitis and to prevent new infections during the non-lactating (dry) period. By ensuring udder health during this critical phase, it supports optimal milk production and quality in the subsequent lactation.
Usage:
Administration Route: Intramammary injection.
Dosage:
After the last milking at the start of the dry period, thoroughly clean and disinfect each teat.
Administer the contents of one 9g syringe into each quarter (one syringe per quarter).
