Clavon Injection by Alivira is a potent combination of amoxicillin trihydrate (140 mg/ml) and clavulanic acid (35 mg/ml). Amoxicillin, a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic, is effective against various gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Clavulanic acid enhances this efficacy by inhibiting beta-lactamase enzymes, which can render penicillins inactive. This synergistic formulation is particularly effective in treating respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, and mastitis in cattle. Administered via intramuscular or subcutaneous injection, CLAVON ensures rapid absorption and sustained antibacterial activity, promoting swift recovery and improved animal health.
