CANVAC 8 DHPPiL is designed to protect dogs from six significant infectious diseases:
Canine Distemper Virus (CDV)
Canine Adenovirus Type 1 (CAV-1) – Infectious Hepatitis
Canine Parvovirus (CPV)
Canine Parainfluenza Virus (CPiV)
Canine Infectious Laryngotracheitis
Leptospirosis caused by serovars:
Leptospira icterohaemorrhagiae
Leptospira grippotyphosa
Leptospira sejroe
The vaccine contains attenuated viruses and inactivated leptospirae, ensuring a comprehensive immune response. Immunity develops within 2 to 3 weeks post-vaccination and persists for at least one year.
Usage:
Target Species: Dogs
Administration Route: Subcutaneous injection, preferably in the area behind the scapula.
Dosage: 1 ml per animal, regardless of age, sex, or weight.
Vaccination Schedule:
Primary Vaccination:
First dose at 6–8 weeks of age.
Second dose 3 weeks after the first.
A third dose is recommended 3–4 weeks after the second for puppies with maternal antibodies or those vaccinated before 12 weeks of age.
Revaccination:
Annual booster to maintain immunity.
