The Zilco Blinker Airlite Half Cup Hood is made from breathable, stretch-nylon mesh that allows full air circulation while maintaining lightweight construction for racing or performance horses. The hinged half-cups are stitched into the hood to subtly restrict side vision, promoting concentration and reducing distractions during training, racing or harness work. The hood features fastenings with clips and elastic straps under the neck for a secure fit. Colour shown: Blue with black trim.

Used during racing, training, or other performance contexts where controlling the horse’s visual focus and reducing distractions is desirable.

Method:

Select the correct hood size and colour variant (shown Blue with black trim in this example).
Place the hood over the horse’s ears and head, align the half-cups so they sit beside the eyes to restrict peripheral vision.
Fasten the clips and elastic neck strap securely, ensuring the hood sits snugly but comfortably without causing pressure or rubbing.
After use, remove the hood, rinse or wipe off sweat and dirt, hang to dry thoroughly, and store away from direct sunlight.
