The onset of action typically occurs within 10 to 30 minutes after oral administration, with effects lasting approximately 4 to 8 hours. Dosage should be tailored to the individual animal, considering factors such as temperament, breed, and sensitivity to sedatives.
Usage:
Target Species: Dogs and cats
Application: Oral tablet
Directions:
Dogs: 1.25 to 2.5 mg of acepromazine per kg of body weight, equating to 1 to 2 tablets per 10 kg.
Cats: 2.5 mg of acepromazine per kg of body weight, equating to 1 tablet per 5 kg.
Administer 10 to 30 minutes before the desired effect.
Provide access to drinking water post-administration to facilitate tablet dissolution.
Repeat administration after 3 to 6 hours if necessary; prolonged use is not recommended.
