Carnitrix 10+ by DAC Pharma is designed to address protozoal infections such as trichomoniasis and hexamitiasis, commonly referred to as canker. Each tablet contains 10 mg of Carnidazole, an active ingredient known for its efficacy against these pathogens. This treatment is particularly beneficial when other medications, like metronidazole or ronidazole, have proven ineffective. It’s suitable for both routine prophylactic use and therapeutic intervention during active infections.​

Usage:

• Administration Route: Oral administration via tablet.

• Dosage:

  • Adult pigeons: 1 tablet per bird (approximately 500 g body weight).

  • Young pigeons: ½ tablet per bird.

• Recommendations:

  • Administer before mating, during the early brooding period, or after races when birds have been in transport boxes for extended periods.

  • Treat all birds in the loft simultaneously to prevent re-infection.

  • It’s advisable to provide a multivitamin supplement, such as DAC Multivitamins, after treatment to support recovery.​
