The Kerbl Litter Fork head is built for efficient, stable maintenance and muck-out tasks. It features 20 long tines, each about 31 cm in length, to easily penetrate bedding or litter and lift waste or soiled material. The design includes a spring sleeve at the fork base to facilitate a firm and secure fit when a handle is added, offering durability and stability during heavy use. As it’s sold without a handle, the fork head can be attached to handles of your choice, allowing flexibility for different working conditions or handle preferences.
Usage
Target Use: Horse stables, farms, barns — for bedding removal, muck-out, manure or soiled litter cleaning
Application & Method:
Securely attach a compatible handle to the fork’s spring sleeve (handle sold separately).
When mucking out, press the tines into the bedding or litter, lift and scoop the material, then deposit it into a wheelbarrow or muck bucket.
Use controlled motions to avoid bending tines or damaging the bedding base.
After use, clean off manure, bedding, or debris, rinse if needed, and allow the fork head to dry to prevent corrosion or material degradation.
Inspect the tines and sleeve regularly for damage or wear; replace if the tines are bent or the fork loosens from the handle.
Frequency:
Suitable for daily or regular stable maintenance, depending on workload.
Replace or service as needed, especially under heavy use or exposure to moisture.
