Marathon Bridle – Arab Light Green by Zilco

The Marathon Bridle by Zilco is crafted from a specially woven webbing coated in a co-polymer, offering excellent strength, colour retention and flexibility across a wide temperature range. It features a traditional halter/bridle combination design with an adjustable noseband and throatlash, as well as quick-release snaps on the cheek straps, allowing fast conversion between bridle and halter. The Arab size is specifically tailored for Arabian-type horses but offers sufficient adjustment to fit some larger horses. This improved model adds comfort padding on the poll and nose and is fitted with all stainless-steel fittings for durability.

Application: Suitable for endurance riding, trekking or general riding where a versatile halter/bridle combination is desired with quick-adjust features and durable construction.

Method:

• Select the Arab size in Light Green.

• Fit the bridle by placing the headpiece over the horse’s ears, adjusting the browband, placing the noseband correctly, and fastening the throatlash so it is snug but not restrictive.

• Use the cheek straps with quick-release snaps so the bridle can convert to halter mode if needed.

• After each ride, unclip any snaps, wipe down all webbing and hardware to remove sweat or dirt, allow to air dry, inspect the padding and stainless-steel fittings for wear, and store in a dry tack room.
