Application:

• Used for measuring heart rate, tracking cardiovascular response during exercise, monitoring recovery post-ride or competition, or capturing training data for performance analysis.

Method:

• Place the heart rate monitor strap or sensor unit in contact with the horse’s thorax or recommended placement area (following manufacturer instructions). 

• Ensure the device is charged and paired via Bluetooth with the NABD mobile app (available for Android/iOS).

• Use the device in “Race Mode” for instantaneous readings and alerts (for example, at vet gates or during competition) or “User Mode” for continuous monitoring during training.

• After use, remove the device from the horse, wipe it clean, recharge as needed, and store it in a dry, safe place.
