It boasts stainless-steel hardware for durability and a refined finish. The Mexican style offers an alternative to traditional cavesson or flash setups, providing more even contact across the nose. Available sizes include Cob and Full (also Pony and X-Full in some listings), and colour options are Black.

Usage

• Target Species: Horses (and ponies where the Cob size fits)

• Application: Used as part of a bridle setup to add noseband contact, promote steady carriage and complement bit/brake control.

• Method:

  1. Choose the correct size (Cob or Full) according to the horse’s head conformation.

  2. Fit the noseband onto the bridle so it sits comfortably across the nose bone, not too tight; you should be able to slide two fingers between the noseband and the horse’s nose.

  3. Ensure the padded underside lies flat and does not rub; adjust cheekpiece or strap attachments accordingly.

  4. After use, wipe the leather clean, check the stitching and stainless hardware, and condition the leather periodically to maintain suppleness.
