Usage
Target Species: Horses (and ponies if size is appropriate)
Application: Worn on the horse’s legs (typically front and/or hind) during ridden work, hacking, schooling or competition to guard against brushing injuries.
Method:
Choose the correct size (Cob or Full) based on the horse’s leg conformation.
Secure the boots around the cannon/fetlock area so the strike pad covers the vulnerable area of impact.
Fasten the touch-close straps firmly but comfortably; boots should sit snugly without pinching or restricting movement.
After use, remove boots, rinse or wipe clean of sweat/debris, inspect straps and material for wear and allow to air dry before next use.
Frequency:
Suitable for every ride when protection from brushing is required, especially in jumping, schooling, or turnout after work.
